Website Review and Suggestions

I need your suggestions about my wordpress gamesite. Aside from games content what more could I add in the site? Also, I need your opinions on ad placement, page load time (individual game page). The site is "Gassy Farts".

lol... watch out, people will tell you the site stinks without even looking at it.

Anyway, my review is: purple and green colors together seem to clash. But what do I know? I'm just a coder.

Actually its name according to domain and site content is Gassy Fart. Good luck with SEO for that.

The GREEN BLINKING column below the page absolutely cough my attention, can you make it blink more rapidly and should position it at the top of the page to attract more of the visitor's attention.

The layout is great but to be honest, I think the header img could be a little more intresting, instead of the gradient blue ya know? Maybe some cool lighting and texture

hmmmm, a good website, but i think using only blue color in the whole site, is not getting attractive. i think the panels on the right side must have different color.
BUT dont trust me i m a programmer only....

The site generally looks like an HTML 1.0 layout to me. I would try to improve the "above the fold" piece of the site. The header, logo etc... However it is nicely organized.

I think the name can be catchy for the right audience. If it's younger kids playing simple online games? Kids would love to tell each other about gassy farts...so i say good job. If your market is anyone else, ouch.

In the navigation menu along the top there are links to usefull pages on your website like most played games and things like that and then there is one "funniest fart scene ever" that just goes to a not so funny video from a talk show? defiantly doesnt belong in the navigation menu...
You need to differentiate yourself. Give people a reason to use your site over a site like addictinggames.com or Kongregate.com

I like the overall look the site, but I don't like the footer. It looks a bit as though it was added as an afterthought (no offense). I would make it breath more by giving it a bit more padding all around (especially at the bottom; the last link is hugging the bottom of the viewport, that creates an annoying tension).

Also I would make the "hit area" (the part you can click) of the links in the header bigger. for example give the links display block and set like 15px padding all around. That way I can click on the link also when I'm near the text, and don't have to be exactly on the text.
Other than that I really like the site, very nice!

Really nice colors and games you have. but it takes long load time. You should decrease the load time. Good site for entertainment.....
