This site is very unconventional. While you get points for creativity, the design is hard to use.

- It is weird that the "click to navigate" stays in the same spot. It should scroll up with the numbers.

- Make the "Michael Pehl - Mini Portfolio" text much bigger so others know who's site this is.

- I would put some descriptive text above the pager numbers that tells the user how to view the rest of the portfolio.

Your portfolio is pretty good! I would suggest a more conventional site design and layout. You also want your portfolio site to be a good example of the work you do and can do for others!

I think the link page must exist between the content..
And the distance between content too far
third link drop removed

First impression: what am I looking at?
Second Impression: ooh some numbers to click at the top
Third Impression: that is seriously cool.

Lots of javascript goodness in there!

I really like it, the design is simple and clean and once you notice the navigation at the top, it sucks you in nicely. It's different and I'm in a mood to enjoy different. Congrats, good job

haha i had the same thought process as edgray. I like how unique it is but because it is so unique it could use some explaining. If instead of numbers, or as well as numbers you also had site titles i think that would make it more functional because most people probably wont scroll through all of them just to browse

its very different, i have to scroll to see the thumbnail of the website which i think is annoying and unnecessary as you could allgin it at the side of the text or something. overall pretty cool
