Website Review and Suggestions

Hi Guys

I posted asking for responses for my website two days ago and the post ended up being filled with spam and getting deleted so I am trying again. Please can you let me know what you think about my site. I want you to be as critical as possible and tell me what you do and don't like. I am interested to hear all opinions. I have been giving the site a huge make-over in the last few days and will continue to do so until it looks professional and interesting to customers. The site address is www.inkelves.com.

I would say your site looks quite good. 2 suggestions:
1. remove the black separator in the background - looks a bit weird as you're using the same image underneath;
2. Is there a way you can re-arrange the main menu so it is located on 1 line?
For instance, "hot" buttons like "Contact Us" "Order Form" & "Free Downloads" can be moved to the very top right corner.
Or you can put your slogan on 1 line & shift the menu under it.

Thanks for your reply. I don't have the first idea when it comes to creating websites so I used a premade template. I tried your suggestion with the link boxes but the only way for me to do that is to make the text really small and then it is impossible to read. There is a way to use website lingo on the site so I will see if anyone I know is clued up enough to help. I definitely can see what you're saying though and thank you for your help!

from SEO perspective, you'd better replace the word"home" into the most important keyword or site name in the home page's title "Home-Ink Elves Blog, Website and SEO Writers"

And if you really want to promote your products on the upper left, you'd better enlarge the fonts and pics to make it much more eye-catching...

Your site does look good, but if you're actually looking towards a more elaborate website design, then, you should take another look at your padding and margins. For example, right above your footer is a big and huge open, grey space that's irrelevant to the design and its copy text. There is even the same issue below your image IN your copy text as well.

If I were you, I would pay attention to that and do something about that *hint* *hint*.
