I want complete honesty.

I have been working with html and stuff for awhile now. Please note that I haven't got into javascript. The javascript menu and contact forms are not my work.

I have only tested this site with firefox and on a resolution of 1600x900.

The background is pretty distractive & washed out. The image on the bottom occupies more space than a template itself. What message should it bring?
And you might need to make a template wider - background takes too much space (tested in Firefox & Chrome 1280*800)

I agree the background and you have an over sized image.

First off, general impression is that the site is odd: the wooden background and the script typeface in the header don't say "graphic design" to me - they say furniture and wedding invitations.

Your drop downs don't work properly (Chrome, Mac), they appear white and you have to rollover to see the white text.

The black text on the dark wooden background is tricky to read, white might be better.

The image is cute tho.

The site is very narrow. 960px is pretty much the standard width these days.

The big "tech art" image at the bottom is too wide and spills out of your container div.

Overall I'm sorry to say it doesn't say professional graphic / web designer to me. The look is nice, but it's not suited to your field. Have a look at some great examples of what other designers are doing:

I can't even read your description. I think you need to change your font color.

I REALLY suggest you reading about visual hierarchy for web design. Consider reading these posts:

http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articl...in-web-design/

I think this will enhance your designs a LOT. It did that for ME. So, why not for you? Read.

First of all, props to you for asking for open, honest critique. We all have to start somewhere and you've got a pretty solid foundation built here.

With a little bit of work based on the suggestions above, you can easily optimise the design to be a lot more visually appealing. If you need any pointers on iteratively improving the design, feel free to ask as you have.

I too agree on reading up on visual hierarchy for web design as suggested by Jarod. It will benefit you greatly, especially where contrast is a concern.

In the templates section, there are 9 of the same template. I think you offer very reasonable prices, you shouldn't have trouble finding customers if you optimize your site a little bit.

Overall the site needs some revamp (as mentioned by our other members here)

Other suggestions to improve your site are:
(1) It will be good if you can remove your pricing from your site to increase your conversion.
Otherwise, your competitor might slash their prices to take away your market share.

(2) By adding your contact number or email will also help in improving your sales too.

Hope this helps.

I think the text should be easier to read without putting strain on the eyes. Consider changing the background color and text font.
