Website Review and Suggestions

Hey guys,

I'm IT student from Toronto Canada, I have programming background in PHP, JAVA, HTML, and a bit in JAVASCRIPT. Anyway I was hoping some of you guys could look over my code and give me suggestions to my site i.e. SEO, keyword usage, proper coding standards, etc. I'm open to criticism so go wild!!

Hello Phillip,

The site looks good! I did run the website through the Validator, 13 errors and 1 warning. If you run the site through the Validator, there's an explanation by line on the errors and warning.

Very interesting, the only problem with validator is that it takes one language and sticks to it for the entire website in this case xhtml. I use 3 different languages in one webpage so validator will throw alot of errors. There are some interesting errors though which I may need to fix that validator found. But I was also looking for more of a design perspective on my site.

The site looks very nice. I have a few opinions that I hope might help (please remember that these are just my opinions and I'm just trying to help)

1. The tables look really plain and since they are used on three of the six pages and seem to hold a majority of your content you should make them stand out and look smooth.

2. The pictures you guys are using for the about us page looks like they were taken with a web cam. Try to get nicer more professional looking pictures (again, just my opinion)

about the tables: I couldn't agree more, I have no creativity :/ I just did what worked and what was easiest. I didn't know anyway that would make my site stand out so this is definitely is great help. About the pictures, well I used regular camera to take pictures, perhaps I'm just not rendering them correctly, I will try to fix!

favicon missing - small thing but useful the plaster would make a good favicon too!

fix node is a little hard to read in the logo try a soft white glow maybe?

eeugh mission statement - say a similar thing but in a more open, less bull****ty way

Adam has really bad red eye in his photo

(unless that's the real colour of his eyes)

ditto the advice on the tables and change the title text on them - i didn't even realise that there was text there!

all in it has a nice feel and is quite presentable!

logo is funny that it catches attention along with that no fix no fee

must be really good in computers and Mac. you provide lots of services.. good looking site.
