I know the style is default vb, so I'm more interested in the accessibility to content and that aspect of the user interface.

Thank you in advance!

Hmm, the default vB layout is so cramped users would get confused what to look at.
Those pictures on the sidebar are more attention grabbing.

I suggest getting rid of some of the unnecessary sidebars?

Most people coming to the site are car or bike enthusiasts, and I've only put critical stuff on the homepage like weather. Rain changes the schedule on a weekend of events in a heartbeat. No one drives a $75,000 custom car in the rain.

It seems that the accessibility to your content is fairly easy.

Can't seem to find any flaws, other than artistic/graphics.

Good job.

The home page is pretty overwhelming with so much stuff, but if its all crucial like you said then what can you do. One thing that was very confusing for me though was that you have two navigation bars, one horizontal and one vertical, both with different links. I would combine these

Looks cramped. A little color would look great! Content is fine, no doubts!

Did it not load? It's supposed to automatically pull from the event coverage galleries and display one.

It is a bit overwhelming, but I kinda built it for people like me that don't want to spend time clicking all over the place to see what's going on. Yahoo and CNN present just as much information, but there's a UI design there that's much better. Where did you run into the vertical and horizontal navigation bars? If it was on the forum pages, then yes, that's a bit distracting, although all the major autoguide.com sites running vbulletin have the same design. I want something familiar, even if it is quirky.

It is cramped. What would you suggest on color? A darker blue like here on TT?

Thank you all for the feedback! Keep it coming!

On my desktop monitor I have two skinny little sidebars and one HUGE center column. Looks really strange and unbalanced. I'd suggest you put some thought into using fixed column widths.

Its a bit bland too. One good eye catching image would make the world of difference.

What resolution are you running?

There's some ideas on how to use images versus links for the posted event coverage, but there's no easy way to implement it right now.

Yeah, that's to be expected at that wide a resolution. Most of the site visitors are using 1024x768 or 1280x768 or 1280x1024, so it looks a bit more proportionate.

I don't like fixed styles as it just wastes space. I wish I could detect the extra width and have a different layout. The layout is customizable.

The site looks fine to me. If its possible to put some type of attention grabbing header up top that would be my suggestion.

Thank you for the feedback. What do you think of having a facebook-like tile of photos at the top versus a static header?

Far too cramped and busy and what is that annoying flashing thing supposed to be? (other than distracting of course)

Everything looks the same to me when I hit the page. I don't know what's content for the site and what's not. No clue what's going on there.
