mario, your site looks really cool. The flash and architecture looks awesome. Here are my two cents:
1. In your contact page, not sure it's intention or you forget, the title is not in English.
2. In the portfolio page, when I click the right arrow, the image looks not moving smoothly.

Good job.

Yea I saw this over on another web design forum. Guessing it was you posting over there as well.

Very cool site and effects. One thing I didn't mention on the other forum. I would add some type of content on the home page. I know you want to show off your affects, but maybe you could create some buttons or graphics that go around the middle of the background. This would be entice people to check out other pages of your site.

Hey man. Thanks for stopping by. I had this question about the index in my head long ago. Then I though that there is nothing really interesting to take place on the index. The most important is my portfolio and the button i already there. If I put something about me... I don't want to bore visitors So in mi vision, the picture and the effects should be entice enough. More then a buttons or text. But hey, everyone has opinion, thanks for sharing yours.
I really do post the site on different forums. Because somewhere I just get one "yeah great" but somewhere I get really smart and useful advices.
Best regards, Mario

Cool Mario. Maybe you could link up some of the planets/objects to other pages of your site. This way the effects are interactive and they lead to other pages of the site.

There is definitely a fine line between showing off your work and marketing yourself, but in the end this is a portfolio site so you do want as many users as possible visiting your portfolio pages. If you can find a creative way to include links to the other pages of your site then go for it, if you can't then just leave it as it is.

I still love that this is in javascript and not flash!

Thank you so much for this line. Because that was my main purpose and I'm glad that someone else appreciate it. About the links. At this point the sun and the litle planet are hiding the menu or the entire header area. But those funcions were designed for the first version of the site, when the index page had the menu hide up by default. And now when the menu is always shown, it'll be really more cool if they are links to the portfolio, the sun - space art, the big planet - abstract, little planet - drawings. thanks for the tip, will do it soon.
Best regards, Mario
