Website Review and Suggestions

Hi,

I have a custom banner design website.

Its a service website with portfolio of various Google standard size banners in it.

Let me know your valuable comment about the website.

only thing i didnt like wa sthe portfolio. don't know what you should do with it but u should organize it somehow. it looks like you just inserted a bunch of img tags

I think the landing page isn't compelling enough.
You should put a "feature" banner or similar on the front page so
people can see at a glance what it is you are offering.
Don't expect people to actually "read" anything on the site, at least at first.

Also, I was a bit confused about what kind of "banners" you offer.
Is it only animated GIF banners?
Or do you do Flash as well? I didn't see any good Flash examples in your
portfolio page.

One more, there is some problem with the favicon not loading
on your portfolio page.

There is a button in banner portfolio like http://bannerdesignwork.com/portfolio.html#125x125

if you click then it will show only 125x125 banners there with Javascript animation.

Thanks for the comment. Yes there is a problem in favicon for portfolio page. Let me check and fix it.

I agree with TWD, if you go to Plum Gragix, the page gets your attention. The color combination needs adjusting, along with fresh-d's comment, reorganizing the Portfolio graphics.

You do have 24 errors in the validator.

No one doesn't have to concentrate or validate their webages, but I have a Link for you to read.

In theory, its a good idea to fix your validation errors in order to "future proof" your site, but I wouldn't obsess over it. Often, it's because of minor things like a missing "ALT" attribute.

There are more important battles to win.

Is validation create problem for SEO or just error that spider will not consider ?

I have another Link Karthi when you have a chance to read, scroll down and your question will be answered. There are problems trying to have a page validate, comments from SEO experts.

If I appear to be harsh, I don't mean to be, just looking out for business and website.

It's a false myth that invalid code affects SEO.

Matt Cutts has said so.
