Website Review and Suggestions

We would love a review of our newest restaurant supplies website www.wholesale.com.au.

We are, obviously, targeting the restaurant and hospitality industry by offering wholesale prices and the ability to by online. There is a wide range of products, including take away cups etc.

At the moment the main concerns are, would you by from this website? If you are in the restaurant business we would love to hear feedback as to what you look for in a supplier.

If there is anything on the website that you think might stop you from buying, what is it?

Awesome job.

Only improvement I can suggest is to add a favicon.
There doesnt appear to be one.

I could add that I am not really a fan of red text on black background.
Or red text on anything really.

I assume that the logo is already set in stone by the client.
But if not, I would have picked some less glaring colors.

I don't think so that yellow and red is a good color combination. It hurt the eyes of your site visitors.

Nice site! However with IE 8 there is some text overlapping in the footer.

it was a little slow loading for me. im not a great fan of red and yellow combination but its not bad.

I've looked at the footer of your page with Chrome, FireFox and IE7 and here's the result in the attached file.

You really should fix that,

( the first place I look for company info is in the footer.. )

Your site has very bright colors that are little disturbing. Try to neutralize them a bit.

I am very impressed with the look of the site except for the amount of loud yellow. It distracts my eyes from reading or looking at your products, and I even found myself scrolling down to get away from it.

This website is very good organised! I like teh structure and styles that are used. But I would change the very bright colors yellow and orange! This combination of colors kill my eyes ))) ... I prefer soft colors!

the slider is the best thing in the website also the footer is very attractive... instead you yellow you can use some grey color tone...

I am going to have a look at it now.

Like everyone here that bright Yellow, Red and black really hits you and remind me of old fashioned websites. I think that you should tone it down somehow.

I like the way you mouse over that panel at the top in the middle and the pics change.

I ca.'t see any reason why I would not buy from you if I was a restaurant.

Aside from perhaps adding a Testimonials page.

Two small cosmetics. In Firefox

On the bottom left of the home page there are a couple of black vertical bars that I suppose should not be there.

And on the How To Order page the heading "Fast Shop" is in a small type than the other headings.

(And for me as a New Zealand marketer) there is no email address and no international telephone number, people overseas can't call 1300 numbers.
