hi ive been asked to make a website for a driving instructor, heres my first design abhdrivingschool.co.uk/dev2/sample.png, its just a quick one and not great but i was wondering if you could share ideas with me to make it better.

i was thinking the red amber green colours as like a representation of traffic lights.

I'm not sure I'd call them kindergarten colors, but perhaps they are a bit on the bright side. I think the red, amber, green choice makes sense. Maybe just toned down a bit. It's mostly the navigation bar that comes across as too bright to me.

Overall it looks like a pretty good design. It's nice and clean. Everything looks easy to read, etc.

Hello Flexdesigns,

Are you really going to scrap the design altogether? What a shame if so, my opinion the design is really nice, even the colors, but I like bright colors. As far as the company name, that's the name for the client's business. Very nice design!

yes but the font choice is classy and stylish and the background colour, but the bright coloured areas are all bright and happy: it's a bit of a confusing clash of styles.

thanks for being kind about the design but i didn't have any love for it and wouldn't want to create a site for my client that i myself dont like therefore i thought it would be best if i scrapped it,
