Website Review and Suggestions

Hi guys, please could you take a look at my new website which aims to provide inspirational videos, images, quotes, stories and music with the intention of motivating and inspiring

The site has only been launched a cupple of days ago so theres not a huge amount of content yet but i will be updating it on a daily basis . there is also a Facebook page to compliment it which has attracted nearly 1000 likes just today . you can view that here facebook.com/inspirationdaily.net . I also post motivational content there most of which links into the site

Design is awesome. (Hope it's not template.)

It would be better if you could put more than just 8 posts on the first page
Infinite scroll would be best.
It just looks too small on my 24" (1960x1200)

I think width is to small (785px) whats wrong with at least 960?

When viewing a post with video and then move to the next one the music continues to play. Kinda annoying (remove the video from the DOM upon "next")

The navigation needs to highlight the selected category .

Good overall feel.

Just my 2 cents.

simple, i can enjoy your content easily...
but i think you must add some sidebar maybe, or something else to increase nice view

thanks for the feedback , im going to increase the width and height of the site for it to look better in the bigger browsers

Cool site, i might even head for some inspirational thoughts myseff. Make sure to change the background to something classy or artistic that catches the eye.

1. Your search field is under the contact button
2. When the photo is smaller, it's positioned in the left corner. You can eater crop the picture to fit exactly in the canvas OR you can align it to the center and (optional) check if it has the height smaller than the canvas so you can add a top padding.
3. Add a break after the Comment (comments form)

I like the layout, nice and clear

Im going to be increasing the width of the site and that will fix the first problem . the second problem im not too sure what you mean

Very interesting idea to make such design. I really like this website. There is only one thing that I would make is to increase a contrast - gray text color and buttons disappears on the gray backround color, so it is difficult to read the text!
