Website Review and Suggestions

Ok, I am not looking for a review of the site. Let's be honest, it's not even halfway finished. It's not even to basic template level.

What I need is an effect. Either Flash or JScript or something. If you look at the image of the new site, look at the oval graphic to the right. I want an effect that looks like an ECG machine over the heartbeat effect. I do have Flash 5 and MX but have hardly even taken them out of the box, let along played with them!

Does anyone know where I can get an effect like the one I need or a tutorial explaining to me how I can do it myself?
