While I'm not a big fan of all-flash sites, I think yours is very well done.
I love your use of black and white with color here and there. I also like how you display information in the sidebar when you mouseover links (i.e. animations, web portfolio).
What I find distracting (and maybe it's just me) is the links on the home, website, and links page. It's a nice convenience to not have to wait for the animation to load before clicking on the links, I find myself focusing on the text links there with nothing around them...and like I said, maybe it's a good thing, but it just confuses me for a split second (although, I'm easily confused  ). If that's your intention, then, cool.
Also, the flashing of the background image hurts my eyes. I'm not epileptic...but my eyes don't adjust to the blinking well.
I like the idea of your animations page, but two (very minor) things bother me about this page. (1) the film strips are sideways - I found myself sitting there for a good 10 minutes with my head tilted to the right trying to make out what each picture was. And (2) it doesn't quite match or blend in with the rest of your site. I realize that it's harder given the content, and there may be nothing that can be done about it...like I said, very minor things.
All in all, though, it's a very nice site.  I would have watched the animations but I'm at work, and I don't have sound. 
Besides, I really shouldn't be goofing off at work on forums...really...  |
