Website Review and Suggestions

StickNoBills is a Free Photo classifieds site. About 5 months old. Will appreciate comments on:

1. Look & Feel.
2. SEO
3. Speed.
4. Content & distribution.
5. Navigation.
6. Competency
7. Existing categories. If any new ones will help.

1. Look is 8 out of 10. Looks clean but I think it's way too light. HAve to concentrate my vision to look at it. Either make th eblue color darker or the font color darker. home, sign in register, faq - try to change those to some kind of orange or something like that and see how it will look.
2. its optimized ok. can't really advise anything here.
3. Loads fast. I have DSL though, but I don't see much graphic to slow it down.
4. Content is good, although I am confused... People all over the world seem to post ads there. After there will be more classifieds would be hard to find what you really need.
5. Navigation is good now, but when there would be more ads I believe there will be a small problem there.

I.e. I would want to find cars listed in the US, why would I need to go through 10 pages of Indian listings to find what I need... There should be sime kind of "sort by"...
6. There are many classifieds websites, but I haven't seen any global ones. so, I am not sure about that.
7. something like "website announcements" would be nice where people can post there URL.

Other than that looks complete.

Nice and Clean design! But I cannot open some links on your site, such as "Post An Ad Now" .

To be able to post an ad, one needs to login. I presume you're shown a login page. If this is not the case, I'd really appreciate some details.

Do you have corporate backing? How long has it taken to get to this level?

Thanks & glad you like the site. It's still an individual venture, about 5 months old now and still improving the site based on feedback from users, friends etc.

1. It looks really good.
2. There is SEO problems I think. You should use XHTML, CSS and tableless design for SEO.
3. It was a bit slow I think. I am in Turkey and have ADSL.
4. I think content is not enough. For example the movies category does not have any items.
5. Navigation can be better I think. You can add a menu on top, below search engine.

it is very well designed
the colors are nice
for SONY ERICSSON you have used capital letters while using small letters for all others.
the main page and the other pages are also looking good.
especially i dont find google ads cluttered everywhere just like similar sites.
