I'm not sure about the choice of both the main page background and the content background. It reminds me of late 1980s eary 1990s "Paint" brush patterns...

There is also little colour and no graphics, this however may be your choice....

i dont see any need to place images on the website. i just want it simple and clean. i may allow paid ads in near future after i build up many members.

1 thing that I noticed. It's kinda difficult to navigate at the moment. When clicking the signup button I kept expecting any forms or whatever information to be placed on all of the empty space on the right. I'm sorry - now that I switched to IE it seems to display fine. In THAT case, make sure your website works well for IE, Firefox and Opera. These are the most popular browsers. With experts telling people to switch browsers because IE is so insecure, there's been alot of people who switched to Firefox in the past year or two

I know that problem exists, but firefox is crap,
it cant display w3c valid html welll,
and i had submitted bug report on bugzilla about it,
they ppl said it is fixed in newer version,

also try to refresh the page 6-7 times
you will find it displays well 1-2 times after you refresh 6-7 times
its firefox causing the problem.

i had also submited a thread about this issue but noone was able to give out a working solution,
if you know any suggestion or html modification to this probelm plz let me know.

meanwhile i have approved your link, and will put it on homepage in a few minutes.

Personally I don't like the design, you can work with few graphics and achieve simple, clean designs. I'm my opinion your design isn't clean or simple.

The content and the idea behind all seem really promising, and I hope it hits off - although from visiting your site I had no want to add my sites to your listings.

Firefox & Opera are the more standards compliant browsers compared to IE, and with IE7 your site still does not display correctly. Its bad practice to blame the bugs and quirks in the browsers for problems with your designs. Although they do exisit there are often other ways of getting around your problems and some re-coding might be required. It would be silly to kick out some of your market just because your site is displaying incorrectly, especially when many web designers are using Firefox as their preferred browser.

Although from looking at your code I cannot identify a problem, from experience I always find it helpful working through you code and see if there are other ways of achieving what you want. Also working through various CSS variables and seeing if you can fix it.

That may be your opinion but more and more people are switching to firefox and they now have a large market share so its in your interest to cater for them.

I think that the content in the articles is good. Your text is a bit light for my taste, Also, i know you dont mean it to be a flashy type of site , but I think more effort should be put into your logo, for branding sake at least.

if you see any problem in Firefox can u plz send me some snapshots and version of the browser you are using?
that will help me solve the issue faster.
the real problem is the site is showing up well now in my firefox version (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6)

so if u help me debug the problem by sending snaps and versions to sameer<AT>possible.in i will be thankful to you

i have fixed the layout issues with my site.
it now works well in
Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla and Safari.

well i have tested on latest versions of all those browsers,
if you still detect any problem plz let me know.

You can now register for adding up your links without hazzle.

looks better. Glad you were able to get all of the glitches out. Thanks for a nice directory. Once your site starts to get bigger, let me know if you need an editor.
