Website Review and Suggestions

Hello all I have been working on a site which is a Myspace resource site. The site started as a turnkey but I have changed it to a custom site which uses CSS instead of tables for a more search engine friendly design and to make it different that the other 1000's of Myspace resource sites out there using the same design. I think its done but still feel like there is something missing

Any suggestions

Sorry to say it doesnt look great to me, its very plain , lacks colour. Also i dont feel there is any true design to it, seems very basic and not very user friendly. Yes it is very differnt to other my space sites, but wheather it is better i can not say.

TIPS:

ADD MORE IMAGES
ADD MORE COLOUR
MAKE A GRAPHIC MENU
A MORE ADVENTUROUS LOGO - MAYBE DO A CONTEST ?

I thought it looked to plain but I am kinda color uncordinated so I tend to stick to simple colors. I dont use a graphic menu cause i want everything SE friendly.

Work on a great looking logo and present the title graphic a little longer "Punk Myspace Layouts" looks like a wordart from MSWord... ;-)

The square advert space right slap-bang in the middle of your contents page really annoys me. This is your most-important space on your site, and if you don't grab your customers' attention, they'll just go. Make the first page fun, add graphical elements for attention, such as News, Competition, etc

The section "MySpace Top Layouts" looks a little rushed, with three graphics just pasted into a table. Try and make this look a little more sophisticated...

Thanks I am currently running a little contest to have someone design a new more exciting graphics logo, and maybe I will move the YPN ad lower on the page for the home page at least and replace it with an image.

I don't like it so much. I think you have a lot space lost in your Title. Forget the girls in the top.

And whats wrong with the girls on the top should I add something in addition to them like something in the background rather than a solid color. Any other suggestions besides the header image?

the colors used for the top banner makes the text dark and difficult to read
use contrasting colors so that the text appears clearly
well designed.
i think the yahoo ads at the top need to be moved to right or left column
