Your site has a lot of contents, it is good.
But, the look is reminding me of the old time website.

but the right side column "your ad here" is not visible on 800x600
left menu is good
the colors many need a change

What do you guys think of the left menu that it expands?

There are a whole lot of links, so I decided to make it expand and shorten.

Is it easy to understand how it works?

Ok;
Very content rich; however design seems too dependant on colors and its boring.

The side menu is neat but confusing; add little plus icons like these:

Nice design, actually the style I like most, simple, and clear. My suggestion is to change the background colors of "Gallery", "Forum", and so on. They seem to be out of line from the main background.

I like clean and simple designs but I think your site needs more dollar signs and bling.

Btw, I notice that when I rollover the navigation on the left my cursor doesnt change to the hand even though its clickable. Sure, its pretty obvious they're buttons but stuff like this can throw beginner browsers and it should be easy enough to fix.

I agree on the cursor problem. It should change. It's not easy to do, so I am trying to learn how to do it.

I was actualy trying to keep it away from the dollar sings and blinds and try to bring visitors back for the good content. It still misses alot of content, but I am working on that.

My main challenge right now is to get members in my forum.

Any suggestions?

I would change some of the colors, and you have to create yourself a nice logo.

I agree with the others, left nav needs to more user friendly, a lot of visitors wouldn't click once they didn't see their pointer change.

What is the purpose of your site? you have a lot of good content but I don't see why anyone would come back once they been to your site once. Let your visitors add their own reviews to the Hotel section. Don't limit yourself just to Vegas and Atlantic city, gambling is in just about every state now.

You should be linking to reputable gambling sites so you can monetize visits. Look for some casino affiliate programs. Same with the movies, let the visitor buy the movie. As well as give their own review of the movie and even let them add other titles.

Exploit all that good content you put into your site!

I have been wanting to start selling products. However, I think i still need to bring more traffic to the site.

I get about 300 unique visitors a day. Not too bad.

But I like the idea to allow visitors to put their own reviews. I will work on that ASAP.

I changed the cursor so it shows up as a hand once scrolled over.

Simple and clean. You might want to add some hover effect to the menu on the left hand side so the user can see where there mouse is and what they are selecting.

Everythings is where its meant to be and in that respect, usability, i like it. It could do with a little extra graphical oomph tho!
