there is a lot of empty space between the first paragrph and the "latest plots"
use different color for the links in navigation
design is good as well as the appearance of the site
marquee is moving in the right speed unlike many other sites.

Nice, except I personally didnt like the background, probably just me.

Also, i like the scrolling things, javascript? Apple has something similar with one of their feeds on the homepage, www.apple.com, scroll down to the 'Hot News RSS Headlines' and you will see it, its preety cool. If you could do that or somthing similar, your site would be awesome.
