Website Review and Suggestions

From a Design point of view I'd like to know if it works well on res 800x600 and on Netscape users (also weither the frames are ok)... Also weither it loads fast enough or if it's too slow... I have like a gazillion designs for this web site but I'm digging this one so far the best... Let me know what you think thus far so I don't spend forever working on something that's crappy...

Note: It's not complete yet... (so I know there might be some broken links and pics...) mainly if you could just critique the design... Thanx!!

My first impression is - very nice job.

I would like to see a splash of color to CONTRAST with the marsian red :-) Maybe the menu could be a different color, or somewhere in the header.

I think the font face works and is consistent enough.

That's a great way to show/hide the subnavigation.

Do you think the navigation will get a little too long once you have a number of months and years under diary? Also, the link "Online Baby Stores" under "Links" in the main nav wraps in my browser. I know I'm being a little picky, but I'd like it NOT to wrap. Maybe you could list the links in the main content area instead and give a very brief description of what the sites offer.

I used IE6 and Mozilla 1.4 at 1024 resolution to view your site.

First let me say, what a cutie pie! I like both of your designs, old and new. The only bad I see with the new would be that since it has frames, you can't just link to a particular page, you would have to navigate through the index menu -- not necessarily a bad thing if you don't need to link to a particular photo. Second, on my laptop here, the light pink links fade right into the grey background.

Other than that, its great. I think a simple approach is the best, especially in a photo gallery. You want to show off primarily your baby instead of the design

I definitely like the design and colors. My only quick suggestion would be that (atleast on my screen) the white "contact" link hurts your eyes over the gray background.

yeah, fortunately i have a good 7 years before she even knows what the internet is... than after that she'll be kept far away from the internet until she's 21...
