Hey people,

Can you review my latest site: http://www.mmmzr.com

I'm particularly interested in:

1) First impressions.

2) How easy it is to understand the concept.

3) Site layout/ style / usability and all the rest. (it's only a very small site)

I've tried to keep the layout and style very simple to emphasize the ads instead, but as it has only just gone online and there aren't any ads yet, it's going to look pretty bare for now.

Thanks a lot!

New idea. I like it. But you need to get better pagerank and Alexa.

Also, you need to give more assurance to the users that there is an automated system that pays them by itself.

Thirdly, i dont like the black color at all. Use bright colors.

Cheers.

thats a good idea.
the "how it works" page is convincing
title simply says - "mmmzr" . use a descriptive title
there are no description or keyword metatags

Cool idea. I don't care for the grey text on a black background, I found it hard to read. I think once you do get the links and PR up, your site will do very well.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your comments, very helpful!

I always seem to end up with very dark websites that noone can read, in view of the majority of commets, I'm working on a white background version with a bit more color now, so we'll see how that turns out.

I personally like the black n orange so I might put a link so that you could swap the css style sheets.

As far as PR and alexa is concened, well I only registered the domain name a couple of days ago so it's early days yet!

To be honest though, I'm working on the idea rather than the PR and Alexa rating pulling in customers. The point is that you are almost guaranteed your money back or double your money back so customers have very little to lose, whatever the site's PR.

Trust me, in order to make the most of the site, you want to jump on the band wagon before the site really takes off!

But enough sales pitch! Once I get the style sorted, I'll probably do a 1 month money back guarantee to give potential customers more confidence. Although it's already pretty much a win/win situation for them.

Thanks again for the comments guys. More opinions are always welcome!

Why not offer as an option, text links instead of the graphic? For SEO purposes maybe...

Just my 2 cents.

BTW - I like your idea. Will you be selling the script later?

Nice design but maybe to dark, make the grey just a little lighter.

Text is a little hard to read, maybe make the text pure white rather than gray.

Ok, I've been working on a new design and a payment form and have finally got something together:

mmmzr.com

It's not finished but before I get too worked up about the details I thought I'd ask for some feedback first!

I tried to take everyone's comments on board and made it much more colorful and web 2.0 style and now there's a basic payment form that leads straight to paypal rather than messing about with emails...

let me know what you think!

I like the design and the practical concept is quite imaginitive.

The only downfall I can see is that the website lacks enough impact information. Sell the service on the homepage as best you can.

I have to say I like it I will come back and buy an ad to get you started i think.

If you would like to ad some bonuses for your members I have a bunch of e-books and programs soem are free junk but a lot are good stuff.
They are on my server.

Pm me I will send you a link to them and you can use any of them you like.

Thanks for the replies guys!

@futurevisions: impact information... ok I'll work on it, but I don't want to overwhelm visitors... I like keeping things simple...

@carterdea: Glad you like the idea and design, as for consumers I'm expecting many to visit the site of course! It's down to novelty value and curiosity as to the next internet phenomenon. People will want to know how successful the site will be, how expensive the ads will go etc... I'm pretty confident about this one!

@bmcoll3278: would be great to have you on board and thanks for the offer of the ebooks etc! I'll have a think about how I can use them and I'll get back to you. Unfortunately you just missed the chance to be first customer, I got a flurry of orders just after your post and now there's only one space left at $1! Then again if you buy a $2 ad you can get $4 back so it's actually better this way.

@cpsitesaver.com: Good idea about the text links. I'm going to add a members page where I list the member sites in the order in which they bought an ad. That way the first pioneers are always at the top of the page and get some extra kudos/traffic! If you want to be up there with them better hurry!

As for a script, right now most of the site is manual. Once I'm happy with the exact layout/operation etc I'll work on a CMS.

Keep the ideas/comments coming!

Cheers!

The idea is new and good. Site design is clean and navigation is easy. But I think ad pictures should be larger and have a text -2 or 3 words- at the bottom or on the top of them.

it's a different and new idea...see some potential...but how are you really gonna be able to keep everyone's ads on the front page if at a later date your site really takes off...and you got a - z stuck up there

i agree with others, you should put a description somewhere...i read the steps 1 -3 and was still a bit confused....so read the how it works page, that helped...but if people are confused to begin with, they won't always go in search of an explanation...they'll just go to another site....but with your site being unique (well at least to me, i've never heard of it before) I'm sure most people will be curious enough to dive a bit deeper into the site.

other than that i really don't have anything to say for the design, it's quite nice...simply and easy on the eyes...well ok the big bold red banner image at the top could be toned down maybe just a bit...but it's all good

Thanks for the suggestions as ever!

I've just come up with yet another version looking a lot more like the first one...

It's boxed in and has much more of a clean if perhaps boring feel.

I'd be grateful for any feedback you might have!

http://www.mmmzr.com/index_box.html

It's not the real thing so don't worry about dodgy links etc...

Oh yeah and there's one more column to fill the space
