Website Review and Suggestions

Hi,
Im in the process of changing my home page. I need some of your opinions. What do you's think of my new home page which can be seen at www.CircleOfLinks.com.au/test.html - Im trying to make it more fun not only a directory. Its till under construction but would like some feedback incase i need to do some changes.

If you think it look like crap let me now... no offence taken. better for me so i now what ive done wrong...

THE BOXS AROUND THE DIRECTORY WILL BE ADS PLACED BY OTHER WEBSITE OWNERS....

I don't like it, at all. I think it is too cluttered, it also looks like a website from 7 years ago. I just don't like it.

the design is good, but i think still many people use small screens.
and this site is too big for them and needs horizotal scrolling.
a good practice of web design is to design sites that fit all screen resolutions.
to acheive this, use % instead of pixels for widths and heights.

which page are you's looking at? should be the one that ends with TEST.HTML?

About design:

Looks nice, but for some reason it remains me those sites that sells ebooks (maybe the fonts?)

I agree with you... please remove those table border , instead use CSS for designing.

lots of space is empty , use it and make the page more dense...

I dont think i can use css, my site is an online web builder and i cant store anything other than html, jpg or gif files thats it...

if im write isnt css another format? (im an amature)
