Website Review and Suggestions

Hi. I started up this business a month or so ago. I sell funny/custom t-shirts. Would you please review my site so I know what it is that I should change? I feel as though it seems a bit unprofessional and would appreciate any input. Thanks.

The template looks a bit awkward... The many text colors/sizes should be changed.... Also menu at the top is too small.. The right banner doesn't fit with the rest... Also your header looks too plain (Only a small menu with a lot of blank space)... Need to rework the template...

the image at the top is of 603kb
that is too big for dial up connections. it is always better to reduce the file size of images so that they may load well.
the rightside blue banner ad is bigger than the column ( view using opera 800x600 screen )
also there is something wrong in the right side portion of the site.
correct these and your site looks good

you should make it so that when a visitor lands on your site, their eye is taken to one focal part. The visitor's eye is not drawn to any particular place on the homepage (other than the top banner) as there is a lot of text, much of it stating the same over again.

Also I don't really see the relevance of the 'news' section; stating that you now have the capability to produce what you're selling could perhaps look a little 'one man band'.

You should also either shorten the header at the top or make it a clickable link, as that takes up half the page in Firefox.

You have obviously got a great range of products though, it is just a matter of selling them a bit more effectively on your site - good luck!

Well, I think I'm going to do a major overhaul on the site and start from scratch...try to make it look professional. Any thoughts?

I would agree that the top banner needs to be much smaller But over all it looks cool.

Funny shirts. Overall I like the look but there are little things that fight with it.

The blurred glowing t-shirt seems at odds with the cleaner edges of the rest of the site. The Forum graphic on the right is too big and overoptimized; looks unprofessional. Your links page (Partners) is difficult to read with the grey font on the grey background.

I would also make the font on your nav buttons larger, bolder or otherwise easier to read and your buy now and view cart buttons need a transparent background.

These are basically little clean up things.

It's taking too long to load. Make sure the first thing that loads is a synopsis of the site so people can then read this while waiting for is to load. Even still you need to cut down the loading time. Lose the the default Blue and the underlines for the links.
The text is too near the edge of the table.
The footer does not line up.
I think it looks like it's getting there but needs some more work.
That flash movie still has not finished loading on my computer.

Ok, well I fixed a few layout problems that were causing it to look wierd in Netscape, Firefox, and Opera. Tested it in those and everything seems to look normal now.

Cool looking design, but it loads pretty slow; you could put your css in an external file, that would reduce the file size. You don't have a description meta tag or keyword tag, and there is no closing head tag on the home page-I didn't check all the pages for that... Also, you should add some actual text for the search engines to pick up rather than just images.

I think its a nice site, kinda small, and yes it does take some time to load which is is a bit off putting.

also the images alt text are not really appropriate for what the pictures are.

maybe would be good if you put an actual cool design of a t-shirt you have done

but all in all a good website, well done

The aforementioned line of text bothered me right of the bat. The font is out of place.

I like your business idea. I think your site may have a future because you have something interesting to market. You just need to liven up the "showroom."
