Old or new?? I have a portfolio ATM but i am redesigning it. But in need your advice on if i should finish the new design and use that or use the current one.
NOTE: I have not yet finished the coding on my new portfolio so my work is not yet updated to it and also it still needs some fine tuneing i know. But anyway lookforward to your prefferable site
OLD: http://www.neonimage.com
NEW: http://www.neonimage.com/new
Thanks
Neon

I would have to say this....Your logo is Awesome for the old!! New website is not bad too...just change the fonts and size on those navigation links. I would suggest go with the new one becuase it looks more professional rather than just a portfolio like your old site.

regarding the new site, the tagline, the footer are not visible clearly
i dont find the navigation or anyother hyper links on the site ( except the google ads )

in both, there is not much textual content on the main page
the designs are good

your reflection is very confusing. the one on the bottom.

esp. how the :hover color, doesn't go on down there. I would add more padding so the text doesn't reflect, or fade the reflection faster so it doesn't show up. It might look better if you set the reflection layer to 50% opacity in photoshop.

just a thought

Other than what carterdea pointed out and the word "key" being unreadable, I'd say the new one. It's cleaner and I like the idea of the dark text on the white background (much cleaner and easier to read.)

I also like the newer logo better.

I like them both. I like the old one because it scales so well right down to 800x600 and the black background goes well when you use up the whole page (screen width) for your design.

I like the new design because it looks compact and modern. I'm not so keen on the HUGE black empty space around it when viewed on my 1280 x 0124 screen.

Cheers.

I think there are plus and negatives about each.

New - The black background with the white foreground is too much of a contrast i think. The logo looks a little fussy and you need to spend more attention to detail. (one example of a few. - The link home is too far left)
Some of the text is too big as well (eg the foot links).

Old - I like the older Logo better. This site also seem more user friendly and less confusing. I do think the text links are a little big as already mentioned. it's just a personal preference but I don't like black backgrounds.

The verdict of Jason Eyermann is ... OLD. (so far)

I like the header image, and the overall look and feel of the site. It needs more content (I'm sure your working on that). Also the links need dressed up a bit. I like the direction your going. Keep up the good work.
