Website Review and Suggestions

I'm working on the design for this website, but I'd like to conquor the design first.

It lacks something, and I think only hindsight will tell me what - can anyone help?

I prefer it as is. It's clean, professional, and the colors blend well.

site is excellent ... just two things to say .... one is what that pic on the main page is about ???? i cant understand that .....
secondly the size of the adds banner .... i agree its equal to the navigation menu .... but because of the bigger size of the text in adds then the text in navigation menu ... the adds are looking bigger .... atleast to me ....

the site is nice.
i have a few thoughts.
there is only one background color for all the three columns
it may look good if you use some light brown color for the left and right columns keeping the present color for the center column
keep the copyright info at the bottom in the footer

I would recommend making the business name smaller. Everything else looks good.

I'm not a fan of red background ... otherwise looks good
