The site has a good amount of links but I dont like the design.

The colors look odd together and the thick grey border around all of the boxes just looks tacky to me.

Just my 2 cents, I think it needs to be cleaned up a bit.

The top news appears on every page which is bad for surfing the directory. Also Google Adsense appears aws main content and the design needs a little more work. I like the news section.

I like the site... nice simple layout. I don't really care for the pink though.

I don't care for the colors much. It might be better to make the news horizontal, move the topsites to the right hand side so that the directory is viewable above the fold. The problem for me with the current layout is that at a glance I cannot tell that your site is a directory... and as a webmaster, why would I submit my site to your directory when most people would not even click to search?
