Website Review and Suggestions

Hey guys

Ive kind of put this site aside for a while but ive decided to resurrect it (if it was established enough to call it that....) but want to get some feedback and comments before i start slogging away geting folk to visit.

The site up to the slaughter is - www.teamlines.net it is a site that allows sports teams to create a free website for the team showing stats, news etc etc.

If its not too much to ask it would be great it you could have a look at the Admin panel as well as the main site - ive just changed the design but im not hugely happy with the colours so any suggestions on that front would be grand. Details of a test account are below.

I am using Firefox 2.0 and the "middle line" next to the logo looks a bit strange.
And the "top clubs" links are not working.

Cheers, I sorted that out as best i can - the image displays slightly differently in IE than firefox for some reason...

good funtionality....but Honestly your website needs alot of work design wise...Try putting up some stock images and your background color and the main content color are the same....Try making one or the other different..

the design is very good
the color of google ads at the top and bottom doesnt mix with the site colors
navigation links at the bottom are not so clear.
better to make the font size bigger and change the color
i find meta name="KEYPHRASES" for the first time.

Thanks for the input guys ive tried to deal with some the ideas all of which change the site for the better!

I would remove the top Google Ads since you have them at the bottom already.
I really like the Top Clubs pages. Very organized. Its a shame they didn't have more content tho to see what a full layout looks like.

I think it looks pretty good. But like someone else said...I would try to re-design it and make it stand out more.

the best part is definitly the header, looks clean and professional. The free SMS graphic and newsletter graphic look out of place: the font you used for the text on them, doesn't match with the rest of the website's style. I think something should seperate the sidebar from the main spot, can do that by adding simply a right border to the sidebar and then add a little left margin to the main spot. The ads on the starting site look okay, but when I went on another page the google ad at the top got too big, there's no problem to have a big google ad at the bottom, but at the top it gets a little too much attention. The navigation looks good but a little too simple, the text is good but maybe make the background of the navigation bar a little less simple, try to play with some simple & clean gradient like in the header, but just with less opacity and of course in some green colors.

The site looks pretty good but the home page needs a little bit more content it looks a little plain without it.

I would get rid of the google ads at the top since when I look at a site if the first thing I see is google ads I immediately close the window and find a new site.... one that's not relying on ads for revenue.

The content of the page is not centered correctly.

The admin page also needs some color maybe a light shade of green but not one that is too bright would look alright I think.
