I was wondering what US Strings could be about until I visited the site - duh, its so obvious!
I like the header banner and I like the simple approach you take, but I think the site needs to have a more desined look and consistancy of look because I think it looks a liitle too simple and might have been done with Front-page.
Also, I suggest to remove the unecessary white space at the top of the html, and move the stylesheet in the head after the doc-type (this ultimately creates browser issues with IE).
