Website Review and Suggestions

I would like any constructive criticism on the design as I am still in the process of adding content. It is a slightly modified Xoops theme called Blue Shine. More than anything I would like feedback on the logo and the homepage text (does it draw you in and tell you what the site is about).

I love the colors of your website homepage and the layout is very nice. I also found it very easy to navigate.

The only changes I would make are:

In the first paragraph ~

I would change it to

Maybe just add the two commas to this sentence?

And in the last paragraph ~

Everyone has something to gain from this community, whether your an eBay pro or a novice this forum is just right for you.

'Your' should be you're (as in 'you are'). And I would add commas as so...

And regarding the colored "X" in your logo, is there anyway you can add a layer effect or two with Photoshop to get rid of the jagged edges to the colored shapes? Otherwise, I really liked your logo!

Overall this is a great site that I will be referring my sister to because she is an eBay seller!

I took all your suggestions to heart. Unfortunatly grammar was never my strong suit, good thing there are people like you though.

Also, if you would check the image again, I added a slight gausian blur to get rid of the jaggedness, does it do the trick?

As far as your sister goes, I sure hope you do, and be sure to tell her not to be scared off by the fact that I'm the only member so far, I would highly appreciate anything she would be willing to help with, even just signing up and saying high in the forum. Tell her as well that although there are only a few directory entries I have a ton left to submit it just takes time, after a few months there will be several wholesalers in my directory.

Sorry, but no it doesn't. Would you want to email me the psd file and I can see if I can come up with a solution?

LOL! This is pretty cool ~ I sure will tell her not to be scared off. She has an online herb and botanical site.

Let me know about the psd file if you want me to see if I can do anything...

Except the style for the typo and logo in the header, I like it very much. Just think that the embed style in the header looks too unprofessional and doesn't go with the rest.

You don't have to but would you be kind enough to suggest a font that you think might go better? I really have very little design sense.
