Remember not every one has a high speed connection, I use a dial up connection and after waiting what seemed like ages for your page to load gave up.
Please excuse me if this seems a bit harsh, but it is a fact of life that people won't wait for an unknown site to load.

I dont know how to make it load any quicker, there are not even that many images.

Actually I dont care why would I waste my time trying to make my site work backwards? It's like taking steps back, why don't I just get rid of all my css go completly html use all of the deprciated code, and then it will load fast for the 3% people useing dial up.

See if every website loaded slow for dial up connections then maybe that would force you to get broadband.

Also seeing how this is a podcast site, if you have dial up then you are not going to be able to listen the podcast anyway, they are a couple megabytes, it would take you a while.

But even on broadband my site is kinda slow, not to the point where you would leave, but a little slow, is there anyway to speed it up.

well it's not your css causing the site to load slowly.
You're file sizes for your site are unusually large for the size image. for instance your ep_2.png file is 42KB when I opened it in photoshop and resaved it without resizing the image it was only 5KB so maybe you should try resaving your images I'm not sure why they are so large but it will cut down on your load speed dramatically. With just your normal images on this initial page it's about 500KB which does take a while on dialup. So just resave the images. and your load time should be good.
also there is no image at /dottech/dt_images/commentbubble_p.gif so your comments image is not showing.

How would resaving them do anything? Is the file format PNG that is causeing them to be so big?

Ok, I made some of the images jpg which is a much smaller file format. So it should load quicker. The logo still had to be png because when jpg it looked bad.

Try it again does it load faster?

I now appreciate that your site is not designed for dial up users and would ask you to forgive me for my harsh words earlier.
But I have just gone back to your site after you have changed your image format and it now loads very quickly even using my so called outmoded dial up.
The design of your site is very pleasing on the eye and I wish you luck with it.

I believe you are using gimp to compress your .png files, i might be wrong

You site looks cool, the only mistake I could fine is on Episode one,

Where you first annouce in your podcast saying:
digg.com
snook.ca
programmer meet designer.com
revision3.com

but on your web you state
digg.com
snook.ca
revision3.com
programmer meet designer.com

Hehe, just a minor mistake.
