i am currently building a phpBB forum and right now i have a small free version. my fully completed version will be up and running soon but it could take a while iam having trouble getting it to install. but when i make my version hosted on my server i was wondering. what it should look like. so here i went on ahead and created this beta version please let me know what you think and what i should do when i make mine.

Hmm, since it's beta, it looks ok. Though would like to suggest that under each category you may one to put in more sub category.

Say PC Games, you may want to rename it to Pc Gaming Lounge, and than put in the genre, like rpg, strategy or even free games, than you may to devote to modding and also tips section.

Same goes to the console and other categories. This will make the board more organize and less messy

which is displayed even in registration page..... according to google adsense TOS this is not allowed. they will ban you in no time. read TOS carefully and apply ads accordingly.
and do make categories specific for contents.

yes the ads in the registration are part of whatever company that hosts the forum at the moment i just found a free phpBB foum and use their stuff the ads are just their iam assuming to pay for stuff. also my Forum will be way differnt than your smarty i just have to get my Fourm actually up and running what i mean to say is that this is just a beta i just made some simple stuff to put in their when my is up and running hopefully it will have at least 10-15 main catagories and a lot of sub-catagories.
