Website Review and Suggestions

Hi all

I recently built this website www.preciseprints.co.uk
I would appreciate any feedback and suggestions on how to make it better.

Also need some help with my website www.preciseprints.co.uk (before anyone comments i know im missing keywords and most meta tags, soon to be sorted.)

I cant decide wether or not to place a links section on there...

any advice would be good.

I have used link pages before and they always seemed to pay off, but they where for different kinds of sites, being this ones printing, and not really internet related im not sure as to what to do...

Good and Bad point's

Good point's-
Overall Nice design, its easy to read and follow link's
Content, interesting to read
images were clear and related to the content of the site!

Bad point's
i found that the banner dosnt really go with the rest of the page however this could just be me

If you want to upload a link's page you've got to bare in mind what kind of links you will have on there, will you be advertising other peoples business that could take clients from you?

yeah thanks that helps..

i had a block on the banner, and just couldnt come up with anything i wanted to use, but needed one so slapped that up for speed.

do you have any suggestion that i could use for a banner ?

the links is a tough part, i could lose customers, but having reserched the net, i find im one of the cheapest printers, and i know the quality is better than 90% of printers, as we spent few weeks purchasing from other printers to compare the quality.

i also thought maybe an interactive side and place some forums in there, to help my customers comunicate with each other, and possibly make clients from others as well.

lots to think about.

I liked the overall design, and felt the banner was alright?
Refering to the banner if you are going to keep what you have I would suggest that the kerning (letter spacing) be slightly increased, at the moment the letters seem to run into each other.
As far as links go, do you think they would add anything to your site. Personally I don't, as Kevin says it would seem that the only relevant links would be to your competitors. I wouldn't think this would be to your advantage as I would think it is hard enough making money from a print shop these days.
I had a look through your site and didn't see any mention of carriage charges until I entered a dummy order and found that shipping was included. Don't leave it for your customer to get this far, if you are offering FREE shipping make this one of your selling points.

I now need to do some thinking of how to step forward with the project. might goto forums for my customers, nice private one.
