hello,
we have created a directory at popularsites.org where everyone can add their sites for free. please review the directory and add your sites. submission is completely free and all submissions will be reviewed and listed within 12 hours.
All sites without any illegal content will be accepted immediately.
It only requires a reciprocal link.
All sites with a reciprocal link will have a direct and search engine friendly link from this directory.
please review the directory.
thank you

Links always help, but I got it open anyway.

The 'Featured Sites' orenge bar looks really bad with the text going on top of the pixelated graphic on the right end. It would look good if the text (or the pixelated-ness) didn't go that far. So basically just get them off from on top of each other. And since it's only one column, that shouldn't be too hard to fix.

As far as submiting goes, I noticed that visitors get to submit for free, but webmasters have to give you a link back. Any reason for the disparity? I know that you want links back to your directory, but is there any way to tell if it was a visitor or a webmaster that submited the site in the first place? Because if there isn't, there's no reason have different policies. I'd pick one, even if it's the link back option.

Yes I agree, to build up your directory just allow people to submit their sites. Most end users aren't going to build your directory for you, only webmasters will.

Three suggestion,

The logo on the top left does not look like its integrated well with you template design.

The links are redirections (and maybe for a good reason) but most people prefer to have direct links (that's the reason I submit to directories)

Why do you have "submit link" as rel=nofollow you don't like to rank high for the word "submit" ?

hello xprmnt,
thank you for your suggestions.

1) we have updated the logo, please visit the site again and see if it is ok.

2) all sites with a reciprocal link to popularsites.org will have a direct and search engine frinedly link.
They will not be redirections and will not have a rel=nofollow tag. so anybody can submit sites free.

3) we will modify code for submit link soon.

thank you very much for your review.

crasher123 I was playing around with your logo and I came up with

and

if you play a little with the positioning they can match perfectly with your template.

Happy New Year
