Right then, I have decided I am going to make some sort of a forum site. I have made a poll in this thread about the sort of forum site I would like to make. So get voting!

Edit: Sorry pressed the wrong button. Here are my choices:
1. Gaming
2. Teens
3. Graphics
4. Web Master
5. Maplestory (my favourite MMORPG game)

Make what you want, not what you think people want. There will always be other places to go to talk about anything that you've set up, unless you want to talk about which pair of underwear you wore today or something.

If you want more of a niche market, the last one would be the best since I haven't seen any forums about that yet. Granted, I haven't looked either.

I agree with the two above as well. Build a site about something you are passionate about. If you have the passion then you might be surprised by the amount of people who will flock to see what you have to say.

I don't disagree with anything said here. Choose something you know about and love. More people fail with their websites because they loose interest and don't give the websites the time they need. Don't make the same mistake.
