I really like it alot the colors and layout seem easy on the eyes and feel you will have great success with the website as long as you stay a dedicated and active member/ webmaster of the forum

I like your design, but feel you might have problems attracting visitors in a crowded market place.

Nice design. Just a couple of comments:

The adsense ad position. In my opinion, too many new sites put ads on their prominent positions too early these days. It's a turn off, at least for me. I would suggest check out the ad placement of webmaster-talk.com. This is a well established forum and you won't feel overpowered by ads on any pages.

Also you might want to consider add some topics that can attract more discussion, or even controversy. For example, soccer techniques for those not only watch but also play, or discussion of players...I think subject like who is the best player ever (Maradona or Zidane..

) can draw more fans to comment...

it looks good; submit the site to as many football related directories as you can and you will get loads more members.

Not sure about your logo. Looks amatuerish....also.add colors...perhaps the flags of the countries that your users follow?

At the head banner, look too simple. Do something with the font and and some effect like shadow to it.

Yes we included green in our last theme
but people complained then aswell.
Then we just had it neutral. People complained there wasn't enough *oommff*
So we added bolder colours. But hey I can't suit every one

Anyway I might do different skins each one a different colour for the theme.
