Please could you guys tell me what you think. This is my web design company. I think the site might be missing something, I am not sure what it is, I am hoping a different set of eyes will help.

It's a little too simple looking, you should work some pictures into the design somehow. Maybe use livelier colors as well.

While it is simple, its a proven fact that easy to read designs are more appealing to customers then text so fancy you can barley make out what it says.....

Yeah thats how I feel about it.

I like simple but this seems too simple, it just needs something. Not much but something, I just can't think of anything.

There's nothing wrong with simple, if you have something to say on your site get your message over as succinctly as you can, I feel you have done this.
The only slight issue I have with your home page is the words "web design solutions" in your logo tend to blend a little too much into the background. This is only a minor quibble and overall I liked what you have done.

I like how it looks but maybe give some examples of the work you have done so your would be customers will know what you can really do

I think simple but informative is the way to go but I do agree it is missing something. Not to keen on the black background, maybe try a few diff background's, you might find it gives it a totally different feel & you like it better.

My personal opinion is that the dark backgrounds on the content boxes doesn't look quite write with the white background.

Other than that I like the simple clean design.

O one more thing not sure about the huge gap between the news and latest projects at the bottom of the page looks like there something missing and ruins the feel to the site. (I using 1280x1024 screen res, this is prob why but most TFT use this res so its worth thinking about).

Yeah, I think Im going to change the width of news and the other boxes to a percentage so they will expand with higher res.

I think that would be a good move.

Try a different background colour a MID to DARK grey would look good I think.
