I like the design & would probably leave it the way it is but I did find a small typo for you. In the Graveyard section you have the area apply for re-enty, you have TAT instead of THAT there.

I like the design! Reminds me of the blueheart theme that is used by some of the Linux window managers.

Only thing I can suggest is to make a favicon that matches your site.

He is using phpbb, a free forum script.

The site is not bad. It is a bit too dark to my liking though.
Also, the "shoutbox" colors and style do not match the rest of the site.
