I've been getting quite a few PM's regarding this issue, and although I don't mind helping anyone, I feel the following information will be beneficial for many people.

Proprietary attributes means your tags such as "bordercolor", etc. are geared toward Netscape and/or MSIE ... so, to help everyone understand how to overcome coding errors in your HTML and/or CSS documents, I'll share this information with you.

When your errors are identified and you don't know how to fix the errors, simply click on the corresponding text and it will give you the correct syntax to fix it -- the first part is a broad overview that will answer alot of questions.

The second phase is regarding CSS Reference.

The most questions about attributes can be found in this categorized list of CSS attributes in 'property-name' format under the Attribute Index.

Hopefully, this will assist many of you in understanding proper syntax coding for validation, to ensure your sites load properly in all of the popular browsers.

I'll add one link to that for newbie-type purposes:

http://www.w3schools.com/css/

They do a great job (unlike their parent site, w3.com) of explaining how to use the various CSS attributes, elements, etc. with examples.

Good post, though, and totally unbiased (for a change.)

Thanks Adam for the kudos; I was gonna mention W3C schools later, but ya beat me to the punch ... not sure what you meant by "totally unbiased (for a change.)"

It meant that you linked to sites that have nothing or little to do with you as resources as opposed to dumping affiliate links all over the place.
