I designed a site many years ago - back when tables where the new thing. My question is simple: Should I go ahead and re-design this site using css? Here's the URL http://plannedplanethood.com/

Heh heh -- are you the Owner of "C-Double.com"?

I agree -- like we say in football; "If ya didn't make it, go back and punt" ... re-do the whole site.

Be sure and let your client know, his site looks like a Blog -- if his intent is to have a Blog, then that's what he should have.

I actually think it has a interesting look, kinda like a old newspaper or something? Anyways I would keep that look just make some nice graphics through so its more like the real thing.

Sorry to disagree with you, but I don't have the feeling that is has something to do with an old news paper. What bothers me the most is that the text is stiched together as it is just one mass of characters on a page.

This site is about reading articles.... I don't want to read anything on a page like I have seen ...

My tip is just work more on visibility and create clear columns which can be read pleasantly... It doesn't need much to create pages like that... Keep in mind

1. Choose a good readable font.
2. Use your space optimal...
(use white spaces between the colums to seperate the subjects...
3. Use some graphics and colors but minimize them. (I mean no rainbow colors)

Hope this will help...

Yeah I think you should really consider a new design.

A redesign will make it more "readable". More photos and white space are needed to
make the "paper" easier to read... and viewer friendly.
