I would love some constructive critisism on my new webmaster forums:

Do I have too many categories for a new site?
Should I put up some affiliate banners?
Any comments on the skin?

I think the amount of categories are ok...if you feel you have too many you could consider combining usability with design categoy and websites for sale with domains for sale.

Affiliate banners are totally up to you. I don't know how you are planing to generate income or are you even planing to do so through the forum...if yes, then put up some, if no then there is no sense to put up any ads.

looks a bit dual, maybe you could change the colour or add a skin to the forum instead off using the default phpbb skin.

When I first saw your site I thought it too busy and in your face. But I must admit it grew on me, but I'm not totally convinced by the overall look.
I'm also not sure how you intend to compete with the established forums in the field.
I find in quite surprising, bearing in mind the subject matter, that your site uses a table based design.

Nothing special.A normal forum with good skin.

Any thoughts on content?
I figured possibly adding:

• website design showcase / awards
• IT news
• Web host review / ratings
