Okay, so here's the gist of it. Alex Tew makes a million dollars selling pixels. I come up with the idea of selling links. Not just regular links, but links to a randomized directory based on category. More links = More hits. Stupid and Crazy? Yes, but it might just be stupid and crazy enough to work magic. Feel free to tell me exactly what you think when you go to my site and how it could and should be better design-wise, idea-wise, etc. Oh yeah, I am definately looking for anything affilate-related if anyones interested! nice idea, yet there might be link, and more link more hits - thats true, but nothing happens with no traffic - providing some traffic info in your site would increase sells. Site looks good, soso - okok, not somehting big but it looks good! i wish you the best of luck! Roy

Hi,

In IE 7 with a wide aspect screen , the headings on FAQ, Webmasters, Buy Links and Contact Me all wrap over the first part of the content text. an IE problem for sure, but a alot of people use it.

Nice idea and visually attractive.
I have a couple of issues with the implication of your site.
First the graphics you use for the links immediately under database are pixalated round the curves. While we are looking at that why did you use different graphics here? Why not be consistent?
The graphics you have under category are not loading in IE7.
Have just looked in Firefox and I see that all your catergory names are a grphic, the only ones loading in IE7 are business and sports.
If you are going to use mouseovers on your links you need to pre-load the mouseover graphic to get inastant change.
You should really start all your HTML documents with a DOCTYPE decalaration to be combatable with all browsers.
I hope this hasn't hurt your feelings too much.

On 'Links.html' the word 'Links' overlaps with 'Please Read all insturctions....'

Sorry, mate....but how is this any different or better from any other FREE directory? Webmasters usually know what directory to use in order to get more traffic or better search engine ranking. And the search engines know, what directory is the most relevant as well.
Your paid service won't make much change to anybody's PR, if any.

And like others pointed out, you have a few aligning problems on your site.

Safari doesnt seem to like your site very much.

also, I'd can the photoshop lens flare and come up with something a little more eye catching.

Thanks for all of the responses--good and bad. I will try to fix that problem that IE7 is having and rework the site based upon the suggestions.

it is a soso concept...perhaps I am still confused as to how this all works. But I have some input for you....

Rather than making it totally random, why don't you figure out geographically where the user is and link to sites that pertain to the same geography.

For example, if I am looking for something business oriented and I am in US...I do not want to see a site in Australia or UK for that matter. That doesn't help and is a waste of time.

Secondly, break down your categories even further to help narrow down searches...example: Business>Laws>Taxes and so forth.

okay this sounds stupid, but i like it and i think all site should or do have it.
a footer! with like copyright thing, i know its stupid simple.
but i think it can amke a site look ever so slightly more pro. know what i mean?
