I found your dark green text on a black background really hard to read.
When I went to your page of optical illusions (some of which were new to me and really neat) there was no way to navigate your site only the browser back button.
Had a quick look at your forum and liked what I saw.

I agree with the Green and the navigation. Also, the Flash intro, I couldn't really read...perhaps change the timing to be a bit longer??

Your color contrast and choice of colors is rather muddy-looking. Not clear at all, it makes my eyes hurt to try to read the text. I would suggest you work on a better color scheme, mind the contrast between text and your background colors.

You can find some really nice color scheme help here:

I have to agree, the color scheme needs to change. Difficult to read.

I'm sure you worked hard on it and it shows
good concept
nice flow

but the whole look is 1980s battleship

if that's the kind of "styling" your going for, great
kind of retro

definitely lose the intro

start with a splash page
and have a flash button to launch the site
and be sure to have some info near this flash button to have people install latest flash player

not a real fan of flash

Hi Great starting site. I am a big fan of the personal website which I believe have a life of their own and grow, change and evolve with your life and skills.

Critique:

1 - colour scheme - not great sorry. hard on the eyes. I understand the concept of a theme - secret agent etc being a great idea but the colours don't work. Why? well grey is always an awful colour on websites. Greens & blues are great but dark backgrounds with coloured text are not so great. Go for the same colours with a lighter even white area for text. Download a colour wheel. If you can afford to splash out pay a few dollars for a really good one like tiger colour http://www.tigercolor.com/. Ok I know its $50 but its a great program and worth investment for any designer. That or really start to work with the colour palette in your graphic program. p.s if you check out the cbs CSI website the colours are drak but white is used for text area http://www.cbs.com/primetime/csi/

You dont have a home button or link

Good luck with it!
