Hello All

I've spending every waking hour putting together this website and i'm finally at the point of launching!
http://www.CareerMole.co.uk is an employee referral network. We've removed the middleman from recruitment and created Mole Referral: where candidates can talk directly to employees, Moles, who can screen, select and refer the best candidate applications for their employer's recruitment process. Everybody wins: Candidates get the job that is right for them; Moles may receive referral bonuses from their employer; and employers recruit great candidates who closely fit their company and culture.

Any feedback you've got for me will be gratefully received - I know it's not perfect yet, but hopefully the concept is fresh enough to generate a buzz

Thanks in advance!

Ollie

Is there a reason that some of the text and graphics on the homepage look purple-ish? It just creates a weird contrast since you used a bright blue for the logo, text, and other graphics.

in terms of the desgin, its not very good, because it does not have enough design elements. try to add more color Ollie, play around with typography etc. I cant say anything about the technical side of the website as i dont know anything about all that- but in terms of graphic- not quite there yet.
good luck with idea

I feel your anxiety, here, my man. I'm the same way -- obsessive about a singular idea, convinced in my own mind, but then of course there's always the launch, which makes you wonder if it was all worth it.

In your case, I congratulate you. This is a VERY unique idea. Unlike lots of sites that are built for the quick buck, you have a solid website that can stand on its own merits, which is evident in your design (flowcharts of the mole versus candidate, etc), so I heartily recommend you pursue this, which may mean you need to drum up some advertising dollars. Consider doing some myspace marketing as well.

Anyway, great job. I hope those around you survived the last two years

The overall site looks good but I havea small problem with the odd chunks of colors used. The outside uses a blue, the inside block uses a purple. Not the colors themselves, but the grouping feels bit out of place.

Like it, brilliant idea.

Not sure if many employers will take it up though.

Employees are more likely to pick people they want to work with, and they'll know how much candidates are earning currently therefore how much the employer is willing to pay.

Good luck, I think the originallity will get people talking about it, the design is great.
