Website Review and Suggestions

Hey everyone. I have been working like crazy over the past few months now and I think this will be my final product.

Well, other than the fact you have links to sites that sell in my mind illegal drugs, the site is coming along. What is the point of this site? It seems to me that there is no point to this site, but as far as the look goes, it is better than the last time posted, but there are still some areas that need improvement. The biggest thing is your header does not match your site. You have this real fancy header, then a plain basic page below it. The colors don't even match with it. The last thing I am going to point out is the links across the bottom of the page. Your text links. They need to be on two lines. Take and split them in the middle so that the bottom line is a tiny bit larger than the top. Good luck with this.

Well in mozilla based browsers your site is wider than the header, which usually detracts from the look of this site.

You should try testing it in more browsers than just Explorer. Its good practice to do so.

Here are some other browsers you may want to try.

Firefox 0.8 (Newest version of mozilla firebird)
Opera 7.0
Netscape

Get it working right with all of those, and you're off an sailing.

I agree with jammin411 on header, plus its almost 70kb - which is too heavy

The purpose of this site is to let people research information not influenced by propaganda.

All of the information based on neuropharmacology is text-book based and 100% fact.

I'm pretty much opening this site so people who are GOING to use drugs, can come to Pharm-Text.com and find out how to do it safely.

Most of the deaths from drugs occur because the person is uneducated about the subject.

Under every drug there will be guides on how to do it safely and general information on what it does to your brain, body, among other things.

Its a site that I created because a good friend of mine overdosed on drugs. I feel I can save a lot of lives by having a site like this where teenagers can come and learn to do what they want safely.

Regardless, people are going to do as they please. I'm just trying to give accurate information to keep people as safe as possible.

About the links I have outgoing? They sell prescription drugs from outside of the United States. And I am earning 20% commission off each sale, and I am making quite a bit of money

It is not illegal for me to have the banners, but it is illegal for my visitors to order it to their homes if they live in the United States, but eh thats on them.

Thanks for all of the reviews. I'm going to download those browsers suggested above so I can work on making it compatible with everyone.

The title graphic is too big, in both meanings of the word.

As long as you're sure about your legal standing, then I'm not offended by the illegal drugs.

, I am now enlightened as to what the site is for. I didn't have a clue about any of this before - I thought it was a site for chemists or something. All this information...

...needs to go prominently on your front page. Forget the news - that's irrelevant if I don't know what your site is about. It'd be fine to just copy the quote above and use it as your introduction.

Also, your slogan is totally unsuitable. This is the main reason I thought the site was for expert chemists. It needs to convey the idea that your site is for the general public giving them information about drugs etc.

Final comment
You know what the site is about of course, but you are forgetting that Joe Bloggs who has just found this site off Google doesn't have a clue what it is about. You need to explain what the site is about a lot more.

By the way...this is my 200th post! Wahey!

Always align your site's pages to the left if you do not want to use a full page. Only site intros & welcome pages should be centered.
