Website Review and Suggestions

What do you guys think of this site:

It's basically a clone of the Howard Stern petition site that I made earlier(http://www.freehowardstern.com).

Let me have it. I need to tighten up this site before I start optimizing it and attracting mass traffic.

it looks pretty good, but in my opinion there is a little too much white space

i think there is too much white space on the main page under the text, on the articles page, and i think there should be more contact info like at least say webmaster or something just my 2 cents

Yes I think there is a lot of white space, yet I really like your top banner.

I agree, the top banner is a keeper. No changes to that.

This site does have a lot of whitespace on it, and past the header is really kind of boring. Just a lot of text, and space.

Try moving your poll to where it takes up less space. You have a yes or no poll, yet it takes up 1/3 of the screen.

Last thing, if you want people to donate to your site, you need to make the link visible. Not at the bottom of the white page with a white button.

Great banner -- don't touch it. Awesome.

You need to modify the image you are using for your nav bar to give the "Home" button a left border to be consistant with the other "buttons." You may have plans to do so, but it would be nice to slice that image up and put in some rollovers.

I like the image with the man speaking into the old-fashioned bull-horn. Keep that. But it struck me that aside from your banner, that is the only big piece of real estate with any color. Make the page more attractive by converting some of your white space into shaded areas that fits with your design.

I like small text, but I thought yours could stand to be just a little bigger. You have the user doing a lot of reading and I know that small text is one of the things that will send people away from a site immediately.

ignore the comments about white space - i like the open and free look to the site.

banner is cool

i think your navigation buttons should have rollover graphics to look a lot better.

a little more content would be nice as from what I can tell it is just a forum and a link to other related news articles at the moment?

It looks good, but you forgot about folk. What is FCC? Do everybody know this organization? Why you fight with FCC? What wrong in its policy right now and in the past? In my opinion you need to introduce some readers into problem.

I like plenty of whitespace.

My problem is that there is no clear indication what the site stands for. It seems to bbe a politaical anti FCC statement, but I do not understand what or why.

Well design is good . Little extra white space but dont let it worry you.
The banner is superb

But there is a problem
To the average user who doesn't know what howard stern is a ll about you should put a little more information

I like the design. It's bright, easy to read and navigate and it loads fast. I agree with sparshpolly that you should provide a little more info about howard stern
