Website Review and Suggestions

Hello everyone,

I am creating a new website which will be selling a range of Search Engine Optimisation audio books.

However I am still in the web designing stage, I would appricate everyones views on the site up to now.

I have placed the site up at another URL so it can easily be seen

Your site's design is very nice. I get 404 errors, however, when trying to access the links on the botton of the page (About Us, Contact Us, etc.). Your site is still under construction. Your site has very few ads. I think when your site is done, it will be great.

Some of the pages currently don't work as the site design is still in progress. Some of the links should work not (contact us, affiliate, links, Privacy).

I think it is clean, but I think it could use a little bit more color involved in it to make certain things stand out more. Just my opinion, but keep working on it because it looks like it coming along nicely!

It is a little White for me, and the wording of the text doesn't flow well. That could be just the difference between English english and American english.

I agree on the color scheme, it feels like it's missing something -- a picture, icon, or graphic of some sort.

Also one of your bullet points in your "About" page reads strangely:
"hold the surfer's attention and gain" .... gain what?

Just being the perfectionist in me, also on that page you mention a "significant advantage" and "huge competitive edge" in the same sentence - seems a bit redundant.

The sub-paragraph formatting in your FAQ page is a tiny bit off (i.e. it's word wrapping on the last few words of each sentence, making it look a little strange). This is on a 1024x768 resolution maximized on IE7. I'm referring specifically to the bit that starts with: "Significantly improve the position..."

It looks like that may have been something you wanted bullet-pointed because there are no periods at the end of each sentence. If so, then I'm not seeing any bullet points.

Not bad, but...

You're specifying font sizes in PX - not good for IE users, they won't be able change the size if they need to - and 9px is a bit too small. Better to use em or % for font sizing and not handcuff IE users who want to resize. Keep in mind, not everyone is 16 with 20/20 vision !

Overall I like the clean and simple design. The colors are ok, but color is very subjective anyway.

Fix your tag issues (all those errors listed above) too.

Hi - I like it! Nice simple design and colours is pleasing on the eye. Perhaps you could move the links from the bottom to the top...??

Looks like good knitting Adam

I think it's plain and serves the purpose very well. I've been going plain and simple recently - perhaps I'm growing old

However it's easier to design Dada-style, as well as to navigate such a site, in my humble opinion.
