Pretty plain but whatever works. Alot of big and successful sites have boring designs.

Yet another person that has installed phpBB and wants credit for it.

Its p@#?ing my off now the amount of people install phpBB, Gallery 2, PHPNuke and the alike and wanting credit for it.

ITS NOT YOUR WORK SO STOP TRYING TO TAKE CREDIT FOR IT!!!

Twiggy I don't think he is trying to take credit for it.

Anyways, the login and register - usability really quite bad. Put them at the top right (where you have view unanswered posts) and put the login box in the same place. This is standard. A good example is this website (webmaster-talk).

Otherwise, looks useful.

Light up the colors.... Make it more "cheery" unless dark and drab is what you are going for.

Your logo is very disapointing, dont you think your title written in Trebuchet on the right, is more beautiful with the one you tried to do

You just need something clean, with a great typo, and not pixelising, and without the blue background

No, phpBB is free/open source software. It's available to anyone who wants to use it. I'm sure he's not claiming to have created phpBB.

I agree with everyone else. The first thing I was going to suggest is a different logo. It's VERY boring looking, no offense. Also, I think the template is very boring. Just trying to help you by being honest. Hope that helps.

I changed the logo But have decided to keep the layout and colors (for now, until I figure out how to change them)

It's simple. Straight forward is usually good. Header might be a bit dark or lacking some more interesting graphic
