i dont like the ads just above the header, my eyes focus on them more rather than the content of the site.. If that was your intention, then you did a good job, other than that, it looks good.
Only problem is the ads.
It forms a large contrast with the actual forum and they also jump too much in the eye.
This is of course just my opinion and I might even be that it was your intention to do that, but if you want a good forum I'd remove the ads or put them at the sides/bottom of the forum.
