Website Review and Suggestions

the purpose of the website is for the user to post what they are looking for. It's the backward concept of the typical users posting what they are selling (eg. craigslist, amazon). Please give me some constructive advise. Thank you very much and I hope you all a wonderful day.

Unique idea but a site like this will take a ton of moderation to avoid spammers and scammers. Good luck.

First of all the concept sounds really good.

I think it's a little dull, maybe try use stronger colours.

In the forum, the blue bar doesn't reach the end of the border. Is that intentional? i think it's just a little confusing

The idea sounds pretty good but to really make a good site out of it will be a very hard job.
The layout is pretty good but I'd make that 'States menu' a little smaller and I'd also reduce the font size of all the states.
What Brai said for the forum is right. It looks weird that the blue bar doesn't go to the end for the boards, but does go to the end for the login bar and Who's Online etc.

Very good!

Thats a fairly unique concept and I think it could work quite well. But only if you can control spammers of course as this is a perfect target.

Layout-wise, I quite like it. I think that some bolder colors might be more appropriate and also I'm not too keen on the way fonts have been used but I really like the layout and style of your tables.

All in all - a pretty good site!

Interesting -- many have spoken about the spammer angle, so I won't hammer you there; however, you do have quite alot of code warnings -- don't worry so much about the promotion; the SE's will find you fast enough, especially after you have sufficient members sign up and post.

Don't panic; the errors only show when I try to validate your code. Suggestion -- you might also want to include a thread for Realtors in all states.

I think it's an interesting site. I'll bear it in mind if I need a rare book or whatever. I do wonder what you'll do about misuse though - do tell us how you get one with that. I for one have products and services to sell, and was working hard to resist starting an inappropriate thread for them so I know it will tempt many - the higher your rankings get, the more it will tempt!!

I have made changes. I get alot of feedback that the user became lost when first landing into my page. I have made many changes and I hope that I have succeeded in creating a more simple user friendly site. Also there is a short text on an explanation of the site on the front page, figured my users dont want to spend too much time reading what it is about.
