Website Review and Suggestions

Hey guys, check out my website is at http://tizzu.com/ . Basically my goal is to make it convenient for people to search the net and get updated on the latest news. Any suggestion would be great.

Pros:
It's very clean.

Cons:
It's too clean.

The menu looks almost like Google AdSense ads and I'm sure that's not what you ment it to be. I'd make the background color just a little darker.

Maybe you should make your banner a little larger/nicer. It's now not very clear where users are.

I would say that your sitre is nice, it has clear obvoius topics and the images work well with the news.
It's nothing I haven't seen a million times before though...
Why not try and spice it up with something unique - a slant on the news or some personal comments on the stories or something, it is just not the sort of site i would bookmark or anything
