Funny. My last post was thanking you for posting the iconlib link. I didn't realize it was your site. Shows how observant I am huh?

It's a nice site. Not a lot of design, but doesn't need a lot. The one thing I would suggest is improving the way keywords are added to the icons. It looks like whoever submits chooses the keyword, but there are going to be more ways to search for something that the person submitting might think of.

For example I tried a search for financial and there were no results, but a search for money returned one icon. If there's a way to improve the search it would be great, but if not it's still a good site.

I would change the background color at the top of your site, although I'm not sure what to. It's easier to be a critic than to come up with something ... I'm trying to do the top of my pages and can't think of anything either.

You said these are all free in another thread. If that's right, your content is hands down better than the competition, and there's no doubt this will become a hugely popular site. You could make a few small changes to help that along the way.

It's a little un-intuitive to click on the images with the standard mouse pointer. You're probably using javascript onclick event handlers, but if you put that inside a hyperlink ( a href="javascript:whatever()" ) people will be more comfortable with your site on their first visit. I'd also highlight the navigation somehow.

You might want to write a terms-of-service page ... I'm wondering whether I could use any of these in a Windows application I'm working on?

From a non-design point of view, you might want to set up URLs with no query string. Google can handle two or three parameters here, but I'm not sure about some of the lesser engines.

great work! your site is looking very good and i may not recommend adding background color, the icons color itself adds glamour to the site.

I personally like the simplistic look in this case. Since you've got the icons themselves, your layout doesn't need to be graphical, and they are nice-looking icons (gotta give 'em mad props for that).

I've got a major, MAJOR issue with this site and I'm surprised that TA and vangogh never saw this: the silly link exchanges on the bottom. I don't know who gave you that SEO tip or how you got it, but those links are doing you no good whatsoever. Let me repeat that for you, since it's that important: the link exchange is doing you no good whatsoever. Take 'em off...your site is good enough to get one-way links without them.

Punishment: vangogh, TA, 3 days in the Relevant Link Exchange forum for both of you!

The minor issue: could you please categorize the icons? Pretty please? I don't mean the Popular Search, either...I mean a list of top-level categories to make things easier to find, like Business and Computers and Animals and things like that. That'd be greeeeeeeeeat.

Oh, and a tableless layout when you get the chance. That would rock the casbah. But that'll come in time, I'm sure.

Hello. Guys I like this website. I'm not ood in web design, so it is quite dificult to say what must be changed. But as a visitor I like this website. I like usability and how it looks like.

I think you need to add some color on your site. the structure is fine. why don't you choose a .com?

It has a very nice simple easy to navigate look to it. You have a lot of great images. I think if you made the background a charcoal black it might look even better
